Privacy notice
About this notice
Qymmo Ltd operates QymmoPay and is responsible for the personal information covered here. This notice applies to website visits and enquiries. Privacy information for future merchant services will be provided before those services become available.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any details you provide, such as your name, business name or phone number. These details are optional, but we need a way to reach you to respond. Don’t send passwords, PINs, identity documents, card details or bank statements.
Hosting systems may record your IP address, requested page, browser information, request time and errors. The website doesn’t use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
How we use information
We use enquiry information to answer your question and follow up on your request. Technical records help us run the website, investigate faults and protect it from misuse.
Processing is limited to responding to requests, legitimate website operations and security, legal obligations, or purposes you consent to. You can withdraw consent for processing that relies on it. An enquiry doesn’t subscribe you to unrelated marketing or authorise sharing your business record with a financial provider.
Information sharing
The people handling your enquiry and providers supporting hosting or communications may process relevant information. We may disclose information where legally required or needed to address unlawful use of the website. We don’t sell enquiry information or send it to a lender as an application.
Service providers may process information outside Ghana. Those arrangements must meet applicable data-protection requirements.
Retention
We keep enquiries for the time needed to respond and handle relevant follow-up. Technical records are retained for operational and security needs. Legal obligations or unresolved matters may require longer retention.
Your rights and requests
You can request access to your personal information, ask for correction or deletion where applicable, object to its use and withdraw consent. These rights are subject to applicable law.
Email business@qymmopay.com with enough detail to identify your enquiry. We may need to verify your identity before providing information; don’t attach identity documents to your initial request. If we can’t fulfil a request, we’ll explain why.
You can also raise a concern with Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.
Updates
We update this notice when our use of website information changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
