Check the detail behind your numbers

See where an entry came from, which dates it covers and what information is missing. Payments confirmed by a provider stay distinct from information you add yourself.

Keep the whole working day together

A sale is one part of your day. Stock purchases, expenses and unpaid invoices belong in the same history.

Customer payments
Follow customer collections and their payment status. Check settlement separately to see whether the money has reached your account.
Business costs
Keep supplier purchases and everyday expenses alongside your sales, with receipts or invoices that explain the entry.
Amounts owed
Review what customers owe you and what your business owes others. An unpaid invoice belongs in your record without being counted as money received.

A total is useful when you know what’s behind it

Look beyond the headline number before using it to plan a purchase or explain your business.

Source
Check whether an entry was confirmed by a payment provider or added by your business. An uploaded receipt supports an entry; it doesn’t make it provider-confirmed.
Dates
Review the period covered and when the information was last updated. Compare periods with the same coverage.
Gaps
See what is included and what is missing. No recorded activity doesn’t necessarily mean your business had no activity.

Keep your history useful as it grows

Your record should help you look back across months, rather than start again each time you need to explain your business.

When something looks wrong, check the source and supporting detail before requesting a correction. Keep track of what changed and why.

Before relying on a total

  • Check the dates you’re looking at.
  • Separate payment success from settlement.
  • Review missing entries and duplicate costs.
  • Check the detail behind any correction.

Take your business history with you

We’re building a financial record that stays useful beyond everyday payments. When sharing is available, choose the recipient, purpose and dates before giving access.

Preparing a record and applying for financing are separate choices.

Questions about your record

Understand what it tells you and where its limits matter.

Is my business record the same as a bank statement?

No. It brings together business entries and their sources. It doesn’t replace statements from your bank or payment provider.

Does money received tell me my profit?

No. Payments alone don’t account for all your costs or obligations. Check the entries and coverage before drawing a conclusion about your business.

Must I share my record to use it?

No. Reviewing your own record and sharing information with a financial provider are separate choices.
